Today I went to a quilt fair sponsored by the Inland Empire Quilters Guild. It was held in Norco, which I'm told is the horse capitol of the United States. Really? I would have thought Texas. Anyway, I invited one of my high school teachers, an avid quilter, but she was unavailable. She's on holiday in Oahu. Yeah, retirement can't be all that hard :P.
There were vendors, raffles, a silent auction, and over 100 quilts on display. I bought a kimono pattern wallhanging kit. The pieces are already cut out and it comes with directions. I've never quilted before and this one is good for beginners. Hopefully i can start and finish it before I retire :).
