frying dough
Someone once made the comment that my friends and I need little reason to have a potluck. This is true. On Saturday night, some friends and I got together "Just Because..." The theme was Mexican and I brought tamales. We had a ton of food and drinks and made churros for dessert. Deep fried dough rolled in sugar and cinnamon. No wonder they were a big hit!

ahhhhh, if only i could reach through the screen and taste another one of those deliciously crispy, cinnamon coated, finger liking good, churros. cd

You have the recipe, right?
the recipe i have, but it's the chef i'm missing ... the cards are stacked against me.
it's true. the recipe is easy. it's from a mix by tres estrellas, but it takes some improvising (like adding extra flour) to get the dough to the right consistency. we did do a couple yummy taste tests. it's all about QA.
man those churros look tasty....DN
